Your article on Faro was very interesting and informative.
You are quite right when you say most tourists simply arrive in Faro airport and make for the resorts of the Algarve and I have to admit I am one of them.
On my numerous visits to Portugal I have never really given Faro a second glance, though I once stayed at the hotel monaco in Montenegro on a house hunting expedition.
It was a wonderful location for traveling around the region and the local people were very welcoming. However we never met any other tourists in the area.
Having read your blog I will make a point of visiting more of Faro than the Forum Algarve!

Thank you very much for this film! It was bringing back so unbelivably clear from my memories how beautiful though lazy and quiet Lisbon in summer is. After having seen your film “tenho saudades”…
And Ricardo Candetys song is really great. Maybe if you have time one day and feel like making a Directors Cut version of your film you could just cut it down to the length of the song and include the ascencor scenes?
